COAT and FEED THE NEED

My daughter brought home a paper from school with a list of items needed for COAT titled Feed the Need. Feed the Need is Saturday, April 24th at Trinity High School from 10AM - 4PM. They are having a food and clothing collection as well as Hot dogs, drinks, face painting, bounce house, sand art, free blood pressure checks and a bone marrow registry. There is a concert at 7PM and a guest speaker, former Carolina Panther, Derwin Gray.

Items COAT needs are:
Peanut Butter, Jelly, Cereal, Sugar, Pasta Noodles, Evaporated Milk, Canned Spaghetti Sauce, Clothes Detergent, Dish Washing Detergent, Canned Meat, Canned Fruit, Powdered Milk, Diapers (all sizes).

Items needed for Backpack Program:
Juice Boxes/Pouches, Vienna Sausages, Microwave Meals, Cup of Noodles, Fruit Cups, Cereal Bars, Pudding Cups, Pop Tarts, 6 pk. Crackers (Nabisco Type)

Items Needed for Hygiene Packs:
Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Toilet Paper, Soap, Deodrant, Feminine Products, Shampoo, Conditioner and Flush-able Wipes

More than 1400 families and 280 senior citizens are fed through COAT. the Backpack Program fills packs of food for 265 area elementary children so they will have food on the weekends. COAT fills hygiene packs for women and children to fulfill basic personal needs.
